Afficionados of Belgian beer know very well a classic abbey styles – thirst quenching Enkel, rich, caramely Dubbel, strong Tripel and complex, aromatic Quadrupel. Each of them is original, but they have one common denominator: Strong spicyfruity profile in aroma and taste, coming from centuries old yeast strain used by monks in Westmalle abbey. It is no wonder that craft breweries like ours are trying to differentiate these styles. Tripel is due to its pale, malty, yet dry body and quite significant alcohol practically the only abbey style, which showcases a little bit of European noble hops. It wasn’t enough for us though, so we added copulous amounts of aromatic New World hops, famous in American West Coast styles like APA and IPA. Hence, we present you California Tripel with strong aroma of pine needles, spices, mango and pleasantly bitter hoppy finish.
