About this beer

Strength
17 °P

Liberty Ale, released in 1975 in San Francisco’s Anchor Brewing, is considered to be the first modern, postprohibition American IPA. This very original craft beer was hopped with newly cultivated hop variety Cascade and sparked the craft beer revolution. Ever since, American brewers started to push the envelope with beer bitterness and strength further and further. The hopforward atti tude plays both first and second violin in this style. Generous hopping with American or New World (Australia, New Zealand) hops features citrusy, floral, resinious, piny, tropical or other fruity flavor and aroma. Milkshake IPA has been a very popular beer style lately. It’s a new trend in brewing, when milk sugar – lactose is added to beer to soften the taste, which brewer’s yeast cannot ferment. As a result ithe beer is slightly sweeter and softer. We have enriched this beer with mango, which gently complemented the taste of extracted hops with the aroma of citrus and tropical fruits.
