Development of this Mulberry Ale started with Belgian Saison (belg. season) – the beer originaly brewed in Belgian farmsteads to be served as the ultimate summer refresher. Various igredients had been used, depending on whatever was locally available from farm to farm – there was no exact uniform of this style. One thing they all had in common was dry, refreshing taste and higher carbonated, almost effervescent body. We liked that idea very much, therefore, our Mulberry Ale contains barley, oats, wheat, rye and, most importantly, hand picked mulberries from our garden. This unique and rare fruit gives our summer Ale not only light pink hue, but also healing, almost miraculous effects. Namely, regular consumption of mulberries lowers blood pressure, stops and helps prevent cancer, protects the retina and even slows aging. Treat yourself why this elixir of life!
